Copycat Recipe for Carrabba's Chicken Marsala Recipe
"A meal that was copied from Carrabba's Restaurant. Although I haven't used it yet, I will offer some remarks shortly. Sounds amazing!"
Ingredients
4tablespoons butter
4boneless skinless chicken breast
halves
4shallots, chopped fine
1⁄2lb mushroom, sliced
1⁄4cup dry marsala
1⁄2cup heavy cream
1teaspoon lemon juice
How to
make
Lightly salt and pepper the chicken breasts after pounding them to uniform thickness.
Cook the chicken in 2 T melted butter in a big skillet for about 2 minutes on each side, or until it is lightly browned.
Take out of the pan and place aside.
In a skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the mushrooms and shallots.
Sauté the mushrooms until they start to turn a light brown.
Bring to a boil after adding the marsala, scraping off any browned bits from the pan's bottom.
Bring back to a boil after adding the cream and lemon juice.
Add salt and pepper for seasoning.
To reheat and complete cooking, put the chicken back in the pan for approximately three minutes.
Accompany the dish with buttered fettucini.
